Free Digital Literacy Training
Through ConnectHome Denver, free training classes are offered at DHA’s six Technology Hubs and at branches of the Denver Public Library located within the initial target area. See the current schedule of classes and events in the calendar below.
The Denver Public Library provides DHA with curriculum for Digital Literacy Classes offered on a weekly basis to residents at each Technology Hub location. In addition, the Denver Public Schools Parent Portal Outreach and Ed Tech Teams provide classes for parents on how to use the portal and technology resources effectively.
DHA’s Opportunity Centers
DHA’s Opportunity Centers are dedicated to supporting residents with transitioning from dependence on public assistance to becoming self-providers.
Additionally, the Centers are critical community hubs supporting entire neighborhoods through the hosting of partner organization programs that serve individual of all ages. Each Opportunity Center features a Technology Hub, which includes a high-speed WiFi internet network, computer lab with printer/scanner, training classes, resume and interview skills development, job leads, resources and referrals.
